IGLESIA REFORMADA SOLA GRACIA First, we appreciate your prayers and we were able to have our conference with the theme of “The Church” in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The Lord in his mercy provided us to rent a comfortable and spacious room. We host speakers from the United States and nearly 30 pastors and ministry leaders from local and surrounding cities. We had the joy of receiving brothers from Guanajuato, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, San Cristóbal and other places. We are very grateful to the Lord for allowing us to bring healthy growing in the Word for the churches of the Mexican Southeast.
One of the speakers, Pastor Randall Easter wrote a summary of the conference in the following words: “It would be impossible to express how well the conference went. The relationships, the joy, the laughter, the friendship, the tears, the prayers, the singing, the thunder of the gospel, and the only phrase I could use is: It was a little taste of heaven. It is the climax of joy for me to be able to preach to a people who have a true desire to hear the word of God.”
PENETRATING THE DARKNESS MINISTRY. Every Thursday I am preaching in the women’s house of the ministry while also every week from Monday to Wednesday, other brothers preach the gospel in the men’s house. The Lord allows the ministry with the indigents of Chiapas to continue and the Lord continues in his faithfulness by providing food, medicine and everything necessary to assist almost 200 people in their homes. His fidelity is amazing. Within a couple of months, the Lord willing, we will be receiving as members of the church 7 people who are leaders of the Penetrating the Darkness ministry. We are very grateful to the Lord for that.
CHIHUAHUA. We were also able to have a refreshing time visiting my family in the north of the country and at the same time visit beloved brothers in the state whom we had not seen in almost 20 years. We are glad to reconnect with them and be able to pray better for them and their churches.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Please pray that our church will continue to grow in adherence to the Word and bearing witness to Christ everywhere.
Pray for the network of pastors whom the Lord has brought us together as we seek to honor Christ through strict adherence to the Word. There are already several churches in the Southeast of Mexico and others in Central America. We pray that the Lord strengthen us and help us to remain faithful.
Pray for the fruit in the churches that were participants in the last Conference. May the Lord bring fruit for his glory from all the effort made.
But please also pray for healthy churches in the Word to be formed in the following states of our country: Guanajuato, Veracruz, Tabasco, Chiapas and in Mexico City, places from where we will receive visitors.
Please pray for the work in Ecuador. That through Pastor Julio and his team we can establish a teaching and edification plan for local leaders. May it be the Lord guiding everything so that his Word spreads and is glorified in that country. There has been no progress on this yet. But we really believe that it is necessary for the Quechua churches of Ecuador to be taught in the gospel of Christ.
Pray for every pastor and worker in the Altos de Jalisco region in the same way.
Pray that the Lord will raise up more workers to work in his Sola Gracia church here in Chiapas. In two months we will again have the opportunity for the church to recognize more officers to join the ministry.
Pray for strength and grace for each of the servants of the Piercing the Darkness Ministry. They spend 24 hours a day taking care of people with problems in their mental faculties and they need to take care of them, clean them, feed them, heal them and much more. Only the Lord can give our brothers the ability, the strength and the patience to do this every day all the time, year after year.
Pray for the migrants from Algodonera especially for those who have joined the church. Three weeks ago they closed the doors to us to preach in the cotton field because the authorities were changed, as well as their protocols. We ask for your prayers so that through the mediation of some people we know, they can receive us again to proclaim Christ. Thank you for joining this ministry team through intercession!
